The goal for this build was to embody 60 years of Jeep heritage while delivering modern performance and style. We wanted to create a streetable rock crawler that seamlessly combines the best of the past with cutting-edge innovations.

Starting with a 2006 Jeep TJ tub, we shortened it by 18 inches to create a truck-style cab. To bridge the 60-year gap, we integrated a 1958 Jeep CJ grill. The Chris Durham CJ to TJ hood serves as the perfect transition piece, marrying the classic and modern aesthetics.

In the rear, we crafted a custom mini truck bed inspired by mid-40s Willys trucks, complemented by an authentic Willys tailgate to complete the look. We meticulously hand-formed all the sheet metal components, including the bed, floor pans, and firewall in-house. All of this sits atop our in-house, one-of-a-kind fabricated chassis, expertly constructed in collaboration with Collins Fab Werks. To add the finishing touch, we’ve applied a rust patina paint, capturing the essence of timeless ruggedness.

Powering this beast is a Gen 3 5.3 LS engine, paired with a custom-built 4L60E transmission. The power is effortlessly distributed to the front and rear axles through the legendary Atlas 2 transfer case.

The front axle boasts an ’08 Super Duty Dana 60, fortified with Yukon 5.13 gears and a Grizzly locker. We reinforced it with a Barnes truss and front steering skid, guaranteeing exceptional strength and durability. To enhance steering performance, we installed American Iron ball joint deletes in the forged steel double shear knuckles, allowing for precise control. The massive 43″ Mickey Thompson Baja PRO SX Stickies, wrapped around KMC Machete beadlocks, are effortlessly turned by the PSC full Hydro steering system, ensuring optimal traction and maneuverability.

For the rear axle, we selected a 2007 14 bolt, equipped with a Ballistic Fab shave kit and truss to maximize ground clearance and reinforce the entire system. With 5.13 Yukon gears and a Grizzly locker, this axle is built to withstand the toughest challenges. We secured the axles with Wide Open Design 2 1/4″ aluminum control arms, providing both strength and flexibility.

While we’ve incorporated numerous custom touches to make this build visually stunning, we remain true to our motto: “Built for abuse.” Every element has engineered to withstand the harshest conditions and deliver high performance.
